This virtual welcome kit contains important information for guests staying in our studio accommodations, and we hope that you find it helpful during your visit. If you have any questions, please feel free to call or text us at 609-213-4044 so that we can assist you as quickly as possible.
To help you get around town during your visit, you will find a printed color map of Cape May in the studio when you arrive. If you’d prefer to use an electronic version, click here to access a PDF of the downtown map, or click here for a PDF of the larger area view.
We have bikes available for you to use during your stay. They are located in the back, on the right side of the home. You may use any bike in the bike rack or in the garage. If you are riding downtown or anywhere that you will be leaving the bike, please be sure to grab a bike lock to take with you. All of the locks have the same four-digit combination – 1117. When you return, please leave the bikes in the driveway so that we know which ones need to be sanitized at the end of the day. Do not put them in the bike rack or the garage.
If you prefer to walk, we are located just a block and a half from the beginning of the promenade. Simply go out the front door and down the steps, then head right on New Jersey Ave. Take the first left onto Philadelphia Ave, walk a few hundred yards to the end and turn right onto Beach Ave. Walk a few hundred yards further on Beach Ave, and you will see the entrance to the promenade on the left. If you walk the entire length, it is about 1.5 miles.
If you need a lift during your stay, give our friends at Cape May Free Ride a call – 609-435-2680. They typically run on weekends from 4 pm to 10 pm and can take you anywhere in Cape May. The driver’s just work for tips so please be generous!
For all of our guests, your health and safety has been, and will continue to be, our top priority! In addition to our normal detailed cleaning practices that our guests have come to expect, we have also implemented new enhanced procedures to help ensure your well-being and peace-of-mind during your next visit. These have been developed based on insight and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the New Jersey and Cape May County Health Departments. In addition, information from national and regional lodging and hospitality organizations were consulted. These included the Association of Lodging Professionals, the American Hotels & Lodging Association, and the NJ Restaurant & Hospitality Association.
We are committed to using safe, effective, and eco-friendly products. To that end, we have carefully researched and selected the following CDC-recommended cleaning and sanitizing products to use. While many businesses are not inclined to share this level of detail, we feel that it is important to be completely transparent with our guests about the products we are using. We encourage you to learn more by clicking on the specific product links.
Please note that if you are staying with us for three or more days, we will gladly freshen your room upon request.
Our staff is part of our family, and we have taken this opportunity to reevaluate safety guidelines for our staff. And, as a result, we have implemented additional steps to ensure their well-being and that of our guests, including:
